Well known and very much liked for his distinguished work on the UK jazz scene, Dennis Rollins has worked with many national and international stars from both the jazz and pop world: Courtney Pine, Jamiroquai and Maceo Parker, to name but a few.

He is a renowned band leader and his various groups have won the audience over as well as prestigious awards: BadBone & Co was named the Best Band of 2007 at the BBC Jazz Awards and his most recent formation, Velocity Trio was named the Band Of The Year at Jazz Yorkshire Awards in 2012. Having won Best Trombone twice at the British Jazz Awards (2006 & 2007) and the Ronnie Scott’s Awards in 2007, most recently Dennis was awarded Player Of The Year by the British Trombone Society.
